share space with tenants such as Google (Googleplex
East), Doubleclick, BarnesandNoble.com, WebMD,
Electronic Arts, Lifetime Television, Deutsch
Advertising (CNBC's "The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch"),
Bank of New York, Nike, Time Warner, Kmart, Sprint,
XO Communications, Level3, Verio, and more. We
operate a 100% Cisco Network which includes Juniper
Networks T-series core routers, redundant Industrial
Cisco 12000 series routers, Cisco Catalyst switches,
Redundant UPS, and Mitsubishi Diesel Generators.
There is enough battery power on the roof of 111
8th avenue to power continuous building operations
for over thirty days in event of a blackout. With
over 300 network peering sessions and direct access
to Gig-E connectivity the Metanet Network secures
business continuity through carrier neutral redundancy
and diverse ISP and Telco options including Verizon/MCI,
Abovenet, ATT, and XO featuring on-site CLEC or
ILEC multiplexing availability.
